Global Quality Awards holds today


To celebrate the World Quality Day (WQD) today, Global Quality Awards will hold at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.

The event is organised by World Quality Alliance to reward excellence and create awareness on the important contribution quality makes in the health and economic growth of a country.

Secretary of the award committee, Ifeoma Emeka, said that global economic growth today depends on quality, innovation and sustainability, adding that the award reinforces these commitments as foundation for improving brands and business performance.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will be the special guest of the occasion with the theme ‘Quality: A Question of Trust’, while Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah, and director-general of Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Mr. Osita Aboloma, are also expected to attend.

Speakers include CEO and founder of York Exponential, John McElligott, Principal I J Duarte and Associates Ltd, Jim Duarte, and Rebekah Kolwalski.
