The Lagos State Chapter of African Women In Leadership Organisation (AWLO) has partnered with Google to train women from various businesses and professions in digital skills.

Chairman of Lagos Chapter of AWLO, Maureen Omeibe, said that one of the objectives of AWLO was to initiate programmes that would educate women, adding “we decided to initiate this training because we felt that technological advancement has really changed a lot of things with the way businesses are run, the way brands are being built.”

Omeibe continued: “So, we felt as the world is moving, we should acknowledge the dynamism and key into it. Everything ongoing in the world is digital. As a matter of fact, women are keying into this because women are vibrant and very enterprising individuals.
