Governorship polls: Results collation begins in Plateau
Collation of results for the Saturday’s governorship election for Plateau began on Sunday in Jos.
Declaring the exercise open, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mallam Halilu Pai, welcomed all party representatives present and expressed optimism that it would end successfully
The News Agency of Niegria (NAN) reports that the collation officer for the state is Prof. Richard Kimbir, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
Also, present at the ongoing execrise are the heads of security agencies in the state, the media, party representatives and local and international observers.
