Govs head to Dubai for investment meeting 

All is set for 14 governors to arrive Dubai for the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), which begins tomorrow. This was part of information contained in a statement by the spokesman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, yesterday.

According to the statement, the occasion will witness a high-powered meeting, which is to be anchored on behalf of the governors by the Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation, headed by Sheik Abdallah and assisted by Walid of AIM.

The NGF explained that the meeting is “a product of a month-long interaction between the chairman of the NGF, Kayode Fayemi, and Ambassador Abdallah, who personally gave his commitment to ensuring a direct interface between Nigerian governors and strong business conglomerates in the United Arab Emirates.”
