As the country celebrate her 60 years independence, Grace Nation International, today joined others Nigerians to mark the occasion and pray against bloodshed and terrorism.

The church, led by Dr. Chris Okafor celebrated Nigeria’s independence with a special prayer session to appreciate God for the love and unity among Nigerians that has kept them together despite ethnic, political and religion differences.

Okafor who is the Senior Pastor of the church, observed that it is God that has been sustaining the country despite various challenges.

According to him, Nigerians are patriotic and united despite poor leadership, terrorism and political violence.

While praying for the country, the cleric called for the blessing of God that override the curses of bloodshed, terrorism and bad political ideology to falls on Nigeria as the nation celebrate this milestone.

Okafor prayed God to show the country and the leaders mercy, and grant them wisdom to take the nation to the promise land.

He hoped that any agitation by individuals or groups that will bring positive development for the country, for the purpose of unity, God will allow it to manifest.

In his sermon at the service tagged ‘How Blessings and Curses Neutralising Itself’ the cleric analysed seven ways to receive blessing to neutralized curses.

He stressed that blessings neutralised the curses of sickness, drought, failure and financial difficulties.

Okafor said blessing is the direct opposite of curses, noting that if there is a curse, there also is a blessing to neutralized it.
