Advocacy for Societal Rights Advancement and Development Initiative (ASRADI) has demanded for Certified True Copies (CTCs) of 2023 presidential candidates’ nomination forms.

Advocacy for Societal Rights Advancement and Development Initiative (ASRADI) has demanded for Certified True Copies (CTCs) of 2023 presidential candidates’ nomination forms.

The demand was captured in a correspondence, yesterday, to Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.

Those in the race include Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Labour Party’s (LP) Peter Obi and New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

The letter, signed by its Executive Director, Adeolu Oyinlola, said scrutiny of credentials of presidential hopefuls was to ensure authenticity.

It, consequently, gave the electoral umpire seven days to honour its application, as prescribed by the Freedom of Application Act, 2011.
