Group empowers students on financial literacy
Golearn, in partnership with Cuddle, has empowered students of Ikeja Senior Grammar School, Oshodi, Lagos, on financial literacy.
Founder and Convener of Golearn, Paul Olubori, said the project is aimed at advocating and sensitising students on financial literacy.
He said: “Golearn is a platform that teaches people to make and manage money and everything that has to do with finance. It is aimed at teaching the students the importance of saving, budgeting, investment and skill acquisition.”
Co-founder of Cuddle Realty, Fabian George, noted that the partnership with Go-Learn is as a way of empowering students on financial literacy, which is one of the keywords at Cuddle.
One of the students, Peace Eiche, said the programme was very inspiring and motivating, as she learnt to make money.
Another student, Joshua Osufiyi, commended the organisers, saying he learnt to always start small to achieve something great in life.
