Group threatens Kwara government with revolt over movement of school equipment
The Patigi Emirate Development Union (PEDU) has asked Kwara State Government to stop the planned movement of functioning machines in Government Technical College, (GTC) Patigi to the newly established International Vocational Training Centre, Ajase Ipo in Kwara South, if it does not want a revolt from its people.
In a statement by the National President of the Union, Umar Bologi Salihu, in Birnin Kebbi, it said the Commissioner for Education talked about plans to move the equipment during his visit to GTC Patigi for the ongoing Certificate Screening Exercise.
Salihu maintained that the act is anti-people and not acceptable to the group.
