The woman was abducted on her way to a Church vigil when the six-man gang intercepted her at Okwe area in the state capital.

According to the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim, the woman was taken away in her Prado Jeep, which the kidnappers later abandoned for another vehicle.

He said policemen at the `B` Division of the state command who got information about the abduction, pursued, but could not apprehend them.

The victim’s husband, Alanza Ugboma, who spoke to our reporter, confirmed the kidnap.
