According to sources, the incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday when workers were yet to resume work.
The sources, who spoke to journalists at the court premises, said the miscreants carried out the devilish acts after overpowering the security guards at the building.
They said since the court is located in an isolated place, there was need for the court to have its own security.
“The same thing happened last time when the office was set ablaze and valuable items destroyed. Today unknown persons invaded the building and carted away valuables. The gateman has not been revived,” a source said.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said she was yet to be briefed about the incident by the Divisional Police Officer in the area.
