House joint committee holds stakeholders’ forum
The Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on Capital Market and Institutions woill hold a two-day stakeholders’ forum on “Realizing the Full Potentials of The Nigerian Economy Through Proactive Capital Market Legislation” from Monday (June 6) to Tuesday 7 in NAF Conference Centre and Suites, Plot 496 Ahmadu Bello Way, Kado Abuja.
The objectives of the two-day conference are hinged on creating an enabling legal environment for the achievement of the recommendations of the Nigerian Capital Market Master Plan (NCMMP) (2015-2025).
The forum is mainly to identify key areas that would focus on the legislative work of both chambers of the legislature within the period of 2016-2019 in view of making the capital market meet the emerging needs of the national economy.
