Governor helped judge to hide $2m, DSS alleges
The Department of State Service (DSS) has alleged that in one of the states where it carried out sting operations were, credible intelligence revealed that the Judge had $2,000,000 stashed in his house. But the operatives of the DSS were unable to recover the money because of an interference by a state governor.
“When he was approached for due search to be conducted, he in concert with the State Governor, mobilised thugs against the Service team.
“The team restrained itself in the face of unbridled provocative activities by those brought in by the Governor.
“Unfortunately, the Judge and Governor also engaged the tacit support of a sister security agency.”
DSS surveillance team, he explained, noticed the resistance of the Judge with the active support of the Governor and craftily moved the money to an unknown location which the Service is currently making effort to unravel.
He denied that the Service invited Justice Walter Nkanu Onnoghen for investigation, neither is he being investigated by this Service.
The Service, he said, has tremendous respect for the Judiciary and would not do anything to undermine it or its activities.
Governor Nyson Wike of Rivers state on Saturday alleged that he was manhandled by security operatives who tried to arrest a judge but confirmed they were able to ward off the operatives.
He described the action of the DSS undemocratic.

Why must sting operation be in the dead of night? Only evil people move and operate at that time of the night.
The supposed $2m could be what the DSS planned to plant in the Judge’s residence to incriminate the man.
The means and ways of the DSS are criminal in nature.
So sting operations are supposed to be restricted to daytime alone? Okay nau
BTW, u know what a sting operation is?
