How we designed PDP to rule for 60 years, says IBB

Former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has said that right from inception, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was conceptualised to rule Nigeria for 60 years and beyond.
The former leader stated this, when the chairman and members of the party’s strategy and intra-party committee paid him a visit at his Uphill mansion in Minna, yesterday.
He said retired military officers were solidly behind the party. “From formation stage, I saw the PDP as IRA (Irish Republican Army). We are the military wing of the PDP. We took a lot of interest. When I say we, I mean my boss, T.Y. Danjuma, Obasanjo, Gen. Aliyu Mohammed and I. We started it,” he explained. “I thank God we came up with the old concept. I believe one of our compatriots, who said PDP would rule for 60 years.”
Babangida expressed confidence that the party can still rule for 60 years, if they put their house in order. Presenting a copy of the report to the former leader, chairman of the committee, Professor Jerry Gana called on Babangida and other well meaning Nigerians to prevail on the ruling APC to stop muzzling opposition parties, with the aim of turning the country into a one-party state.

Rule Nigeria for 60 years? I think that desire is now retired
Babangida needs to be ashamed of himself and his fellowmen who desired to rule Nigeria for 60 years. What a stupid idea that is. It is even more stupid of him to talk about it. Does this man still wish to be President? God forbid bad thing because as a president he was a disgrace to the country.

Their same military strategy brought Nigeria to where it is today. IBB strategy led to June 12 debacle, deaths of several citizens, Dele Giwa inclusive, SAP that brought Nigeria economy into the woods it is yet to come out from, elevated corruption to the highest level in the country, introduced our youths to denand egunje before they assist you in putting a load into your car or push your broken down vehicle off the highway to the road side.
Thankfully that same strategy failed to keep PDP in power beyond 16 years – 16 years of worms and cankerworms
Complete Idiot. 16 years after, the country was reduced to this mess. 60 years or before; we would have been physically sold out in slavery. This man is mad. Evidently his end is near. Is there no mental home in Minna? Send him to Aro or Uselu
I think the best to have revolution that will wipe out all these people with neurosis problems, because if they are hospitalized int mental home they can escape, so the best is to kill them, they had killed many people and perished many homes.
