ICPC arraigns NSITF employee over alleged N7m job scam
An employee of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Ukwunna Anthony, has been arraigned at a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) for allegedly defrauding job seekers of N7.1 million.
In a six-count charge filed before Justice Abba Mohammed, the commission said the defendant received N7,150,000 from several individuals through one Ogechi Egejuru.
Ruling thereafter, the judge admitted Anthony to bail in the sum of N2 million and one surety in like sum before adjourning the case to November 7, 2019 for hearing.
