Idanre tasks Aiyedatiwa on Akure-Idanre road
The Idanre Development Assembly (IDA) has hailed the people of Ondo State for their support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, which resulted in his victory at the poll on Saturday.
While congratulating the governor, the sociocultural group described Aiyedatiwa’s triumph as a show that the people of the state were solidly behind him
According to the group in a letter signed by its President-General, Dr. Anthony Omolola Aiyedatiwa made history by clearing the entire 18 local councils of the state.
However, Omolola urged the governor not to renege on his pledge to dualize the Akure-Idanre road, stressing that the move would further open the tourism potentials of the Idanre community and as well boost its agricultural drive.
He said: “You have made history in Ondo State by winning the eighteen local government areas in the governorship elections; hence the task before you is enormous, but I believe with God and the support of good people in Ondo State, you will succeed.
