PRINCE Justin Nomso Nwoko has dismissed a recent newspaper (not The Guardian) publication by group of persons claiming to be from Umu-Omorhusi Royal Family of Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North Council, supporting the allotment of further land to any of its sons.
In a statement made available to The Guardian, Justin stated that no group or body exists by the name Umu-Omorhusi Nwoko Royal Family, as what existed from time immemorial is Umu-Omorhusi Royal Family.
He added: “Umu-Omorhusi Royal Family did meet on November 8, last year, but no such resolution(s), as claimed by the ‘Umu-Omorhusi Nwoko Royal Family’ was ever made. No minutes of meeting by the former was ever tabled or ratified and no publication was authorised.
“Pertinently, Umu-Omorhusi Royal Family did not at anytime give its support to the so-called Sports University project, which is nothing but a land-grabbing scheme by Ned Nwoko and his group, all funded by Ned Nwoko.
“The land-grabbing scheme was further amplified by the publication/group admission that some 33 hectares of land was given 10 years ago for agriculture project, which project till date never took off and not the least kilogramme of farm or diary produce was ever produced from them.
