Prominent Edo politician Roland Igbadumhe, popularly known as the “Youngest Old Man,” has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to the newly elected Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State chapter, Sylvester Aigbobo, on the occasion of his birthday.
The message reflects Igbadumhe’s admiration for Aigbobo’s growing influence within the party and his contributions to political development in the state.
Aigbobo recently emerged as one of the key officials elected during the Edo State APC Congress held in Benin City, where party delegates selected members of the executive working team tasked with steering the affairs of the party into the next political season. His emergence has been widely seen as a strategic move aimed at strengthening the party’s structure and unity across the state.
In his goodwill message, Igbadumhe, a celebrated entertainer known for performances at shows such as Night of a Thousand Laughs, AY Live, and Crack Ya Ribs, commended Aigbobo for his steadfast commitment to the APC and his role in fostering cohesion among party members.
He noted that Aigbobo’s leadership qualities would continue to inspire confidence within political and social circles in the Edo APC and beyond.
“On this special occasion, I celebrate your life of service, leadership, and dedication to the progress of our great nation. Your commitment to governance and the welfare of the people continues to inspire many across Edo and Nigeria,” Igbadumhe said.
“May this new year bring you wisdom, strength, and renewed vision to keep making impactful decisions for the betterment of society. Wishing you good health, greater achievements, and many more years of purposeful leadership.”
Igbadumhe further expressed optimism that Aigbobo’s new age would usher in renewed energy for the APC in Edo State, strengthening the party’s capacity to support the government’s transformative agenda.
Beyond entertainment, Igbadumhe has carved a niche in civic engagement and philanthropy, having served as Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment to former Edo State governor Adams Oshiomhole, while also championing grassroots initiatives such as building an orphanage in Okpekpe and supporting widows and youth through various empowerment programmes.
