The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has commissioned the newly built Police Division donated by Stallion Property and Development Company (SPDC) Limited, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the community.

The IGP, represented by the AIG Zone seven, Kayode Egbetokun, in his remarks lauded the firm for the gesture. He described it as worthy of emulation by all.

Also speaking, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police, Sadiq Idris Abubakar, enjoined the officers to put the building into proper use in ensuring that crime is reduced in the area. He tasked the officers to embrace community-based policing, respect human rights and other global best practices.

The CP assured residents of FCT of the Command’s unwavering commitment to ensuring safety of residents. He urged residents not to relent in partnering with the Police.
