Imo State Commissioner of Police (CP), Rabiu Ladodo, has described the alleged extortion of motorists by the police in the state as shameful, threatening to deal with the culprits.

Chairman, Conference of Imo Leaders, Iwunze Odiwonma, and the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Jude Owuamanam, had on Monday, in a radio programme, threatened to sue the police over the matter.

In a statement yesterday, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Godson Ikeokwu, said the CP would take drastic action against those found culpable.
