INEC shifts Rivers rerun polls to October

Again,the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rescheduled the Rivers State re-run elections to October this year with no date yet.

The Commission National Commissioner, Operations, Hajia Amina Zakari, disclosed the new date at a Stakeholders meeting yesterday in Port Harcourt, stressing that it would be difficult to conclude the state legislative rerun elections in September, due to the Edo state governorship election that is fixed for same month.
