The National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, has been honored with the prestigious Lifetime Ambassadorial Award by the Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) North-Central Stakeholders Forum.
The award recognizes his exceptional contributions to fostering political inclusion, peacebuilding, and creating opportunities for young Nigerians.
Speaking at the event in Abuja, Dantalle expressed gratitude to NYC for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to mentoring and empowering Nigerian youth.
Dantalle reaffirmed his commitment to serving humanity and contributing to Nigeria’s progress, stating that he allows God to guide him in his service to humanity.
Dantalle said: “The only thing I do is allow God to use me to do whatever He wants for humanity. One of my key prayers is that anything done for me that doesn’t benefit the people, I don’t want it. Let my work be assessed by humanity, posterity, and God.
“This office, I didn’t seek it. I didn’t expect to be here. The people said, ‘You must do this.’ And though I didn’t want to, they made it clear this was their choice. I am here to serve, to contribute to national development, and to empower humanity.
“I don’t take decisions. I endorse decisions made by the people. Whatever I say is what the people want me to say. Your recognition today challenges me to be better. I promise, by the power of God Almighty, to continue giving my all even at the expense of my life for Nigeria and humanity.”
While presenting the award, the chairman of the Nigerian Youth Congress, Comrade Alfa Ebune, commended Dantalle for his integrity, exemplary service, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s democratic process.
“In a time when the ideals of democracy are being tested like never before, Alh. Dantalle has emerged as a beacon of hope. His tireless campaign for free, fair, and transparent elections is not just a slogan; it is a clarion call to every Nigerian,” Ebune said.
