The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have condemned the recent judgment delivered by the magistrate court in Kano state in favour of the killers of Mrs. Bridget Aghaneme who was murdered in Kano by some Islamic fundamentalists, describing the judgment as a dangerous signal.

In a statement yesterday, spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful alleged that the magistrate and the government of Kano State were instrumental to the killing of an innocent woman.

He alleged that killers of Christians have infiltrated the judiciary, especially those in the Northern part of Nigeria. He added that the concocted judgment by the killers in the Northern part of Nigeria indicate that they are not wanted in the northern territories.
Powerful said the IPOB and their leader Nnamdi Kanu are in top gear towards the liberation of their people but through peaceful means.
