Ogun State African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has promised to resuscitate the abandoned multi-billion dollars Olokola Free Trade Zone, alongside the agro-cargo airport projects in the eastern part of the state, if elected.

Isiaka disclosed this, yesterday, at a campaign tour of Ogere-Remo, Ikenne Local Government, where he also promised to leverage on other untapped opportunities inherent in Ogun East to develop the state.

The governorship hopeful, who noted that the state has the resources to be an economic giant, assured that his administration will adopt “workable measures” that will help correct infrastructural deficit in Ijebu Senatorial district of Ogun State.

He stressed the need for local governments to function properly, because with the right backing from the executive arm and considerable level of operational autonomy, local governments will complement government’s development activities.
