Itel Mobile, in partnership with Lagos Food Bank Initiative, recently brought succour to residents of Agboyi community, Ketu-Alapere, Lagos State, distributing food items, provisions and learning materials for kids.

The organisations also provided free medical check up for pregnant women, nursing mothers and the elderly to prevent impending epidemic in the community of about one million inhabitants, which is surrounded by dirty water.

The donation, according to the firms, was part of the Itel bi-monthly ‘Love Always On’ initiative, which focuses on bringing succour to the less-privileged in communities. They spoke through the Digital Marketing Executive, Itel Mobile, Ogunpaimo Taiwo and the Team Lead, Children’s Unit, Lagos Food Bank Initiative, Deola Folorunsho.

The Asipa of Agboyi 2, Chief Abiodun Sodeinde, who represented the Baale, Chief Taiwo Olamuna, thanked the organisations for showing support to the community. He, however, called on government and other corporate organisations to come to their aid and provide drinking water and schools, which is still lacking in the community.
