JMG marks World Environment Day, commits to renewed climate action

JMG Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions by supporting climate-conscious development across Nigeria, as the world marks World Environment Day 2026 with theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”

The firm also stated that tackling climate change requires collective action, practical solutions that would deliver both environmental and economic benefits, and it will grow portfolio of solar and hybrid energy to help businesses and communities reduce environmental footprint while improving energy efficiency and reliability.

Speaking on the JMGs commitment to climate action, the Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal explained, “This must be driven by action, and through innovative and energy-efficient solutions, while we are helping businesses reduce environmental impact, and supporting a more sustainable future.”

He argued that the increasing demand for cleaner and smarter energy systems presents an opportunity for organisations to embrace innovation, improve efficiency,and to contribute meaningfully to climate resilience in the country.

Similarly, he also emphasized the importance of protecting natural ecosystems and accelerating the adoption of sustainable technologies that support long-term development, and the firm delivers eco-friendly, specialized solutions designed to enhance both living and working environment.

The Chief Commercial Officer believes that the innovations would not only lower electricity bills, but they would also cut fuel costs as well as play a vital role in reducing harmful emission in our environment.
