As part of efforts to strengthen governance in kaduna State, the Governor, Uba Sani has appointed key officials to drive the administration goals for development and growth.

The Governor said that the government decided to inject fresh energy into the public service, and accelerate the administration’s transformative agenda.

In order to achieve government goals, Governor Sani approved the following appointments; Audu Maikori , Chief Strategic Advisor, Inter – Governmental Affairs, Umar Uba Maicitte, Senior Special Assistant, Community Relations; and Aminu Mohammed Gusau , Senior Special Assistant – Policy Communications.

Besides, the statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Ibrahim Musa said that Governor Sani approved the appointment of Board members of parastatals and Governing Council of Kaduna State University (KASU).

Those appointed as KASU Governing Council members included, Dr. Ibrahim Umar, Pro-Chancellor/Chairman, Dr.Ibrahim Hamidu, Member representing Zone 1 Constituency of the State, Malam Adamu Aliyu Shika, Member Representing Zone 2 and Mrs. Ladi Barnabas Bala Bantex, as Member Representing Zone 3.

Also appointed is Alhaji Adamu Attah , as Member representing the Organized Private Sector.

Besides, those appointed as members of Kaduna Mining Development Company Management Board are, Lawal Umar Meyere , Board Chairman; Addau Ahmed, – Member Representing Zone 1
Kabiru Tsoho Yakawada, Member representing Zone 2, and Yohanna Allah Magani Christopher , as Member representing Zone 3.

Those who were also appointed as members of Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority Management Board members are,
Tanko Kokwain who will serve as Board Chairman.

Other members are Thomas Samuel Amale , Member representing Zone 1, Esther Ayuba Anthony, Member representing Zone 2, and Mustapha Ahmed ,Member representing Zone 3.

The Kaduna State Livestock Regulatory Agency has as Board members; David Umar Guraraa as Board Chairman, Bello Nuhu Yakubu , Member representing Zone 1; Hassan Adamu Shekarau , Member, representing Zone 2 and Mrs. Hannatu Sambo ,Member representing Zone 3.

Also the members of Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) Board, included Yakubu El Saad Lere who will serve as Board Chairman.

Others are Zubairu Balarabe Saminu , member representing Zone 1, Binta Saidu , Member representing Zone 2 and
Habila Abel Adamu , as Member representing Zone 3.

Meanwhile the statement pointed out that “the new appointees are seasoned professionals and resourceful leaders carefully selected based on their proven track records, competence, and unwavering dedication to the socio-economic development of Kaduna State”.

Musa said, “while congratulating the new appointees, Governor Uba Sani also challenged them to view their appointments as a call to duty”.

According to him, “he urged them to hit the ground running by executing their duties with utmost diligence, transparency, and strict adherence to ethical conduct, to ensure the rapid delivery of democratic dividends to the good people of Kaduna State.”
