Kano dismisses Kwankwaso’s allegation over planned sale of hospitals

Kano State Commissioner for Health Dr. Kabiru Getso has described as fragment imagination, the alleged moves by government to sale two newly rehabilitated specialist hospitals in the state, of the peddlers.

Besides, the Commissioner hinted that a total number of 3.17 million children were successfully captured across the 44 LGA’s, in the just concluded round of Polio immunization in the state.

Marking the 61st anniversary of the Senator representing Kano Central, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Leader of Kwankwasiyya Youth Kabiru Yusuf accused governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of orchestrating plans to disposed the Giginyu and Zoo road pediatric hospitals to Chinese company.

Addressing a press conference marking the annual World Polio day, the Commissioner for Health insisted there wasn’t plan and would not be any to consider the option of disposing the facilities after spending millions of naira on rehabilitation and equipment. On the contrary, Dr. Kabiru revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted to commission the health facilities.

According to the Commission “ After abandoned the facilities for good three years by successive governments, this government under the able leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, took time and courage to investment billions of naira for public use.
