Five hundred and fifty-four indigenes of Katsina State will be used as pilot constables for the commencement of community policing in the state. This followed their graduation in Kaduna Police College.

“A total of 554 special constables of Katsina origin passed out from the premier Police College, Kaduna,” he said.
Addressing the constables at the Command Headquarters, Katsina, the Commissioner of Police, CP Sanusi Buba, urged them to be upright, discipline and dedicated to duty.
He stated that they would go back to their respective communities to serve, to help in reducing crime.
