Kebbi gov, Idris preaches peace, harmony for 2025
Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has enjoined the residents of the state and Nigerians at large to live in peace and good neighbourliness as the nation ushered in the New Year 2025.
He made this known through his X (formerly Twitter) handle, where he advised the citizens of the state to embrace peace irrespective of religious and ethnic affiliations and cultural differences.
Idris pointed out that the diversity which is the hallmark of the nation and Kebbi state is meant to foster unity instead of division.
“Nigeria’s diversity is a strength meant to foster unity, not division. God has created us with various backgrounds to bring us closer together as a united people.
“Let us use our differences as a source of strength and unity,” the governor said.
The governor assured Kebbi residents that in 2025, his administration would bring increased development and empowerment initiatives to improve the state’s livelihoods.
“I wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. May 2025 bring you success, happiness, and good health.
“Let’s approach this year with renewed energy, optimism, and a commitment to make it even better than the last. Together, we can achieve greatness. Cheers to 2025,” the governor said.
