Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Bagudu, has said his government will provide additional resources to the NG-CARES programme, as soon as they are requested by the delivery platforms.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser (SA) Media to the Governor, Yahaya Sarki, while disclosing this yesterday, in Birnin Kebbi, at the launch of the programme, Bagudu promised that the state government would render all the necessary assistance to ensure the success of the initiative in the state.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Babale Yauri, the governor said: “The impact of COVID-19 on the economy and Kebbi needs not be over emphasised. We saw global economies enter recessions and, all over the world, recovery is just beginning. This makes the CARES programme not only timely but essential.”
