Kebbi State government has upgraded the three tertiary educational institutions in the state.

Addressing newsmen yesterday, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Isa Sama, said the upgrade was part of government’s commitment to promote educational systems and lay good foundation for societal growth and development.

He named the benefitting schools as Adamu Augie College of Education (to degree-awarding institution), Kebbi State School of Nursing and Midwifery (now College of Nursing Sciences) and Jega Health Technology (now College of Health Technology and Sciences).

He explained that the upgrade would greatly benefit the state.
