The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, would attend the third edition of the Expatriates Business Awards (TEBA) as Nigeria honours expatriate businesses, foreign missions and international organisations for their contributions to the country’s economic development.

Odumegwu-Ojukwu would serve as the chief host, while Keyamo would be the host of the ceremony at an event slated for August 20, 2026.

A statement by the Director of Awards, Odunola Abayomi, said that the event is expected to attract diplomats, senior government officials, captains of industry and members of the international business community.

Also expected are the Permanent Secretary of the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Dunoma Ahmed, who would attend as the Special Guest of Honour and the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mahmud Kambari.

Abayomi explained that the annual event had become Nigeria’s foremost platform for recognising expatriate investors, foreign missions, international organisations and migrant communities whose investments and partnerships had contributed to job creation, technology transfer and sustainable economic growth.

According to Abayomi, the 2026 edition represents another milestone in strengthening Nigeria’s relationship with the international business community.

According to her, the awards continue to celebrate individuals and organisations whose investments, innovation and long-term commitment have boosted confidence in Nigeria’s economy while deepening bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

She said: “This year’s edition promises to be bigger and more impactful as we honour individuals and organisations whose commitment to Nigeria has inspired confidence in our economy and strengthened bilateral and multilateral relationships.”

Abayomi added that the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs as chief host indicated the growing importance of economic diplomacy and international partnerships in advancing Nigeria’s development agenda.

She noted that TEBA has evolved into a unique platform that promotes excellence, encourages greater foreign participation in Nigeria’s investment landscape and strengthens ties between Nigeria and the global business community.
