Korean Cultural Centre donates educational materials

THE Korean Cultural Centre in Nigeria, in its efforts to encourage innovative learning for children has donated handbooks and DVDs on children’s play to the FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB), last week in Abuja.

Mr. Kwon Yong-Ik was received by the FCT UBEB Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Catherine Ezeilo, at the UBEB office, where the donations and presentation of the educational materials were received. The materials are collections from a play workshop organised for children in the FCT earlier this year.

The educational and cultural arm of the Embassy of Korea in Nigeria, partnered its Nigerian counterparts in a children development initiative themed “Let’s Play with Yoo!” in April with participation of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC).
