The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, will hold “a power-parked and life changing crusade in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital today.

According to the State Overseer of the church, Pastor Dele Rosilu, the crusade tagged “Turn around 2016” takes place at M.K.O Abiola Stadium.

Rosilu said: “The church through this crusade is demonstrating that it is a partner with the government in turning around the fortunes of the people, That is why the theme of the crusade is targeted at changing both the spiritual and physical status of the people.”

Rosilu who condemned the increasing rate of religious killings in the country urged faith leaders to always preach peaceful coexistence among the faithful and not “hateful messages” that would aggravate crisis. He stressed that the people must learn to tolerate each other.

The cleric also charged President Mohammadu Buhari to urgently take definite steps to stop the occurrence “before it degenerates into a national crisis.”

He also cautioned government to be more proactive in resolving the issue of wearing of the veil (hijab) to school by female muslim pupils, urging it to conduct a thorough investigation on the matter to prevent it from turning into a major religious crisis.
