Kumuyi hopeful of better nation as church begins ‘Solution Crusade’ tomorrow
General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has expressed hope that Nigeria would experience “freedom and solution from every problem”.
He made this known in Abuja as the church prepared to hold its ‘Divine Solution Global Crusade’ tomorrow.
“We believe that we are going to move to the next phase as a country and as individuals and families together. We equally believe that we will have real independence from oppressors, attacks and insecurity. There will be freedom again,” he said.
He promised citizens that a turnaround is on the way, especially for those that participate in the five-day event at Papal Ground, Abuja.
Meanwhile, speaking on the faceoff between resident doctors and the Federal Government, Kumuyi called for dialogue between the parties. He also urged caution in handling the issue of repentant Boko Haram fighters, saying: “It should be a two-way programme, like having the carrot and the stick. But sometimes we have to approach the carrot method so that there can be peace. The important thing is not to punish a culprit; the important thing is to have peace in our country.”
