The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said that Nigerian youths have pivotal roles to play in national development and efforts must be made to propel them to overcome limiting factors.

The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said that Nigerian youths have pivotal roles to play in national development and efforts must be made to propel them to overcome limiting factors.

Kumuyi, in a statement, yesterday, to herald the yearly congress of the church tagged: “Emerge 2020: Beyond Limitation,” which is billed to commence on November 25, 2020, said that no effort should be spared to drive the youths to overcome all present challenges and live beyond daunting societal, economic, cultural and generational limitations.

The cleric noted that the three-day event would feature talks and presentations from renowned professors, a former vice chancellor, a serving deputy vice chancellor, relationship experts, medical experts, scientists and senior members of the academic community.

“The year 2020 has left the faith and hope of many completely submerged. The global pandemic and the national tremors in academic programmes, as well as political governance, have added to the deluge of submerging events. The congress of 2020 will address contemporary issues bogging the minds of the 21st century youths and academics: any hope – governance, career, life sustenance, economic and financial security, morality, integrity and trust.

“Through a non-conventional discourse approach, we can unearth the secret that will birth a new dawn. Emerge 2020 speaks and breathes hope and power.

“Interested students and staff are encouraged to join virtually or through any of the over 100 cluster locations of the Deeper Life Bible Church where facilities will be readily available for seamless connection.

“There will be two sessions per day – Morning (9:00 a.m. to noon) and evening (2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.),” the statement said.
