Lagos: Hamzat to speak on relationship among arms of government

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, will be speaking at the fourth educational and social interactive programme billed to take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Lagos Sheraton hotel, Ikeja.

Tagged: “Timeline Awareness Initiative Lecture/Award,” the event will witness a Keynote address by Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa.

Obasa will be sharing his vast experience as a legislator working to aid and ease the work of other arms of government in Lagos State, which has led to the infrastructural development and cordial working atmosphere in the state.

According to one of the organisers, Yusuf Adeoye, the Publisher of TimelineNG, an Online Newspaper, Dr. Hamzat, who has held several positions in the state including Commissioner for Science & Technology before his present elective position as Deputy Governor, will be speaking on the Topic: “Imperatives of Harmonious Working Relationship Between Arms of Government, A Key Ingredient in The Success of Lagos State Government, with focus on 2023 General Election.”

The programme will reveal the state of affairs of the Lagos State Government since the inception of former Lagos State Government and National Leader, All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 1999 till date.

Also, lined up for the day are awards for some distinguished and prominent Nigerians.

Former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, will chair the awards, while the Minister of Information & Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, is the Chief Host of the day.

Also, expected at the occasion are: Convener of Arise Women, Dr. Siju Iluyomade, Chairman House Committee on Defence, Honourable Babajimi Benson from the House of Representatives among others.
