The lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 1 in Lagos State House of Assembly, Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe, has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu, saying that things would soon get better in the country.
Ogundipe, Chairman, House Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, who spoke during his birthday celebration on Monday, June 9, 2025, at ‘The Triumph’ in Oshodi, Lagos, stated that it is obvious that there is hunger in the land, but that the policies of the President would yield good results on the long run.
The lawmaker, who used the occasion to thank God for sparing his life, recalled that he celebrated his 60th birthday in 2024, but that his people still wanted him to mark it this year.He said that Nigerians should give breathing space for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to actualise a better Nigeria.
RELATEDLY, another member of the Assembly, representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency I, Temitope Adedeji Adewale, has said that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s concerted efforts to alleviate poverty in the country are yielding positive results, with economic indicators pointing towards steady growth.
Adewale, who made the assertion in a statement by his media office, following a visit to Tinubu, congratulated the President on his second year in office.He described his visit to the President as “a son’s visit to his father,” expressing pride in his association with the nation’s leader.
