Lalong, Jang congratulate Plateau guber candidates

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State and former governor, Jonah Jang, have congratulated All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidates for the next general election.

Lalong and Jang, who are chieftains of the APC and PDP respectively, called for unity in the state, dedicating the victories to the people and democracy.

The governor described the outcome of the election as a victory for the Plateau APC family, which demonstrated the capacity to work together for the good of the party and the state as a whole.

He said the outcome should be seen as a collective mandate, which will bring APC members together for the overall success of the party in the 2023general elections.
 
Jang described the PDP primaries in Plateau State as a sign of good things to be experienced in the state. “The outcome of the primaries will best be described as no victor no vanquished, as all the aspirants gave a good account of themselves and congratulated each other for a good contest.”
