At the primary election in Shendam, the delegates unanimously elected the governor unopposed as the APC flagbearer.
The governor as the sole candidate, according to a statement yesterday by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Simon Macham, was elected through affirmation.
Plateau South APC Chairman, Musa Nyalum, said members of the party in the zone resolved to give Lalong their mandate to represent them in the red chamber because of his experience and performance as governor.
