LAUTECH

The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has denied the rumour about a resolution of vote-of-no confidence allegedly passed on the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Mojeed Olaide Liasu and the Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Ayodeji Omole.

Registrar of the university and Secretary to the Governing Council, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, in a statement yesterday, said it beats the imagination of the institution that anyone could insinuate that a university, which just concluded a highly-successful week-long convocation ceremony, where all members of staff co-operated and participated, was going through a crisis.

He said there was no reason for the institution to be experiencing any crisis at a period it was determined to do greater exploits, adding that the management has resolved to continue to prioritise members of staff welfare.
