Lawmaker hails Ememobong’s pragmatic leadership
Lawmakers in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Information, Aniefiok Denis, has applauded the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Ememobong, for his pragmatic leadership and goodwill.
Stressing that his goodwill permeate the entire state legislature, the lawmaker said his leadership has created a robust mutually-beneficial working relationship between his ministry and the state Legislature, particularly, the House Committee on Information.
Denis spoke on Wednesday at his Aka Itiam Law Temple Chambers, during a visit to him by the management of the Ministry, led by the Permanent Secretary, Akparawa James Edet.
He commended the Ministry for always being alive to its budgets defence in the House of Assembly, adding that under the leadership of Ememobong, the ministry has exhibited commendable service delivery, due diligence, financial accountability and transparency.
Earlier, Edet had said his team embarked on the visit as part of ongoing New Year visits to stakeholders of the Ministry, in recognition of their contributions toward the growth of the Ministry and the development of the State in general.
In a vote of thanks, the Director of Information and Dean of Directors in the Ministry, Mrs. Blessing Urua, expressed gratitude to Ememobong for initiating the visits to stakeholders of the Ministry and thanked Denis for granting them audience.
