Christian legislators in the National Assembly yesterday announced plan to organise a prayer session for the “Change begins with me” campaign of the Federal Government.

The session titled: “Tree and its fruit: Is yours a blessing or a curse to Nigeria” is part of activities for the 7th National Prayer Breakfast.

Briefing the press on the prayer session slated for October 27 at the Conference Hall of the International Conference Centre (ICC) Abuja, the President of Christian Legislators’ Fellowship, Senator Barnabas Gemade (APC, Benue North West) said it is being organized to seek divine intervention in the challenges facing the nation.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari, federal legislators, ministers and diplomats have been invited.

“This year’s event is quite significant, being the 7th National Prayer Breakfast because the number seven in spiritual reckoning stands for perfection. Hence we intend to offer prayers to God to perfect all that concerns us as a nation and usher us into a new beginning in this season,” he added.
