Long queues of vehicles, motorcycles and tricycles have resurfaced in many petroleum stations in Ibadan, stretching many parts of the metropolis.

Long queues of vehicles, motorcycles and tricycles have resurfaced in many petroleum stations in Ibadan, stretching many parts of the metropolis.

On Wednesday evening, a popular filling station in Bodija had a queue of cars stretching long distance
It was the same story at, Mokola, Sabo, Agodi Gate, Secretariat Road and Total Garden, Sango, Dugbe, Iyaganku and Queen Elizabeth Road.

Private cars and commercial vehicles were seen joining long queues in all the petroleum stations visited.
The reason for the panic buying could not be established.

“We don’t know. We are just seeing the people coming.

“Our own is to sell. We don’t know why the people are coming.

“We are still selling at the normal price. But, we cannot send people away,” one of the pump attendants said.
