Cutting-edge technologies, like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science, are fundamentally transforming our daily lives. These breakthroughs are increasingly recognized as viable tools to address the urgent public health issues affecting the African continent. With the current trend of more doctors and nurses seeking opportunities abroad in countries such as the UK, USA, and Canada, it’s essential for Nigeria and other African nations to fully embrace these advanced technologies to bridge the healthcare delivery gap.

Longevity Nigeria is thrilled to announce their upcoming virtual conference, titled “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to Enhance Public Health in Africa.” The event is will be held on Saturday, 28th of October, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm (GMT +1). The organization’s primary goal is to bring together experts, innovators, and influential figures in the field to collaborate on strategies for improving healthcare services in Nigeria and throughout Africa.

When discussing the purpose of this virtual conference with some journalists in Lagos, Agbolade Omowole, the event’s organizer and founder of Longevity Nigeria, passionately expressed, “Africa is grappling with a lot of public health challenges, ranging from managing disease outbreaks to effective management of resource allocation.
