Looters’ list: Desperation, politics behind my media trial, says Metuh
Former National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has condemned the recent list of ‘looters’ released by the Federal Government through the Minister of information, Lai Mohammed, saying it breaches the constitution and burdens him with two criminal trials.
Metuh said the latest effort buttresses information from reliable sources that the FG has ordered a conviction at all cost to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is tainted before the elections, adding that government’s determination to achieve the objective is underscored by the refusal to allow him attend to his deteriorating health, notwithstanding several expert medical opinions on the matter.
He said: “In view of this unprecedented executive rascality and lawlessness, I have asked my lawyers to review implications of this latest attack and take appropriate steps for redress.”
