The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has declared that the party is open to aspirants from other political parties, who have been unjustly edged out of governorship race.

The National Secretary, APGA, Hon. Labaran Maku made the call, yesterday, while addressing the crowd that came to welcome him to the party secretariat to submit his governorship nomination form in Lafia.

He said aggrieved aspirants in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) can join APGA, where there is no politics of god-fatherism, religion and tribe. He disclosed that his party has spaces for credible defectors.

Maku thanked his supporters and assured them that mistakes of the past, where election riggers stole the party’s mandate, would not be allowed to repeat itself, because votes shall be protected.

The party’s state chairman, Alh. Musa Saidu noted that people in the state are tired of APC, where percentage payment to civil servants and killings is at the front burner.
