MASSOB chiefs task Buhari on killer herdsmen
Two leaders of the Movement for the Actialisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to stop the menace of Fulani herdsmen across the country.
The MASSOB leader in Delta State, Chinedu Amaifeobu, said yesterday in Asaba, the state capital, that it was worrisome that Buhari had not intervened in the matter, despite the thousands of people that herdsmen had killed in the country.
He expressed concern at the number of herdsmen that had invaded the state in recent times.
He added that their invasion came few days after some people were arrested in Alifikede town, in Ika South Local Council area for resisting their cows from grazing in their
farmlands.
Also, the group’s zonal commander of security,
Mr. Ignatius Adili-Ajana, said the lives and property of residents in the state were under serious threat.
