Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has won the Young Talent of the Year Award at the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The 19-year-old Spanish forward claimed the prize for the third time in a row, becoming the first player to achieve the feat.
Yamal had a brilliant 2025/2026 season with 25 goals and 20 assists, winning the World Cup, La Liga, and the Spanish Super Cup.
In his acceptance speech on Monday night, Yamal said his Spanish and Barcelona teammate Pau Cubarsí deserved to win the award.
Pau Cubarsí won the Young Player of the Tournament at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in June as Spain beat Argentina in New Jersey to win their second title.
