MFM lauds The Guardian’s contribution to society
The role of The Guardian newspaper in informing and transforming society, over the years, received commendation, yesterday, when the media team of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) paid a courtesy call on Rutam House.
Chairman, MFM Media Committee, Pastor Oladele Bank-Olemoh, who led the ten-member team, said the visit was to forge partnership with the newspaper, in order to make Nigeria a better place.
Bank-Olemoh also decried looting of the nation’s coffers by politicians, saying the trend has brought curses on the perpetrators. He, however, revealed that MFM has not stopped offering prayers for the well being of the country.
The team was received by the Editor, The Guardian, Mr. Abraham Ogbodo, members of the Editorial Board, Mr. Martins, Oloja and Dr. Luke Onyekakeyah, and Associate Editor, Mr. Julius Eto.
Ogbodo assured the team of the company’s willingness to partner with the church on positive objectives. He also highlighted the vision of the founder of the newspaper, the late Dr. Alex Ibru, in promoting the cause of religion through the Ibru Centre pages of the newspaper.
